1. What does “pet-friendly” actually mean?
- Can pets stay indoors?

Answer: It varies! At PetBubble, we encourage pet-friendly properties to make it clear whether pets are allowed indoors, what types of pets are welcome, and if there are restrictions like size or breed. Always check the listing details or message the host through the platform if you're unsure.
2. Are there any extra fees for bringing my pet?
Answer: Some places charge a one-off pet surcharge/fee for extra cleaning or wear and tear, while others don’t charge at all. Each host or provider has the responsibility to list these fees upfront so there are no surprises.
3. What amenities are available for my pet?
Answer: It varies! Many hosts/providers go the extra mile with bowls, treats, bedding, or even toys. Some even have fenced yards or pet doors! PetBubble encourages listed properties to include all their pet-friendly feature so that you know what awesome options you and your pet/s will have when you get there.
4. Can I leave my pet alone at the accommodation?
Answer: It varies and depends on the host/provider. Some are fine with it, others prefer pets not be left alone. If you need to pop out without your furry friend, you can find a trusted local pet sitter or local boarding or daycare facility through PetBubble too!
5. Are there pet-friendly attractions nearby?
Answer: Yes, and we encourage hosts/providers to list their local faves! From off-leash beaches to dog-welcoming cafés, you’ll find tips in the property description or by messaging the host directly.
6. What do I need to pack for my pet?
Answer: We recommend bringing your pet’s usual food, lead, bedding, and any medication. But many places will have bowls and some basic supplies to get you started - check the listing to know what’s included!
7. Are there local vets or emergency services nearby?
Answer: Most listings will include the closest vet or emergency contact. If not, just ask, or use PetBubble's local finds registry to find one near your destination.
8. Do I need to clean up after my pet before leaving?
Answer: Yes please - just like at home! That means removing fur, picking up waste, and leaving things tidy. Some hosts provide pet waste bags or cleaning tools to make this easier.
Even though we have professional cleaners come through after you leave, they are not there to pick up your pet's toileting waste!
