Tails of the World™ is an international collective of professional pet photographers, united in our mission to make a difference for animals in need.
Each year we raise thousands for animal charities by photographing local dogs for our annual Tails of the World book. 2024 was our biggest year yet, raising over $75k, with 855 dogs, 80 photographers and 16 countries.
This is a celebration of dog. The adventurous dogs. The cuddly dogs. The goofy dogs. The old dogs. The shy dogs. The head-tilting, tail-wagging, tongue-lolling dogs.
We love them all.
All proceeds from the sale of this book is donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Caitlin J. McColl is a multi-award winning professional pet photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2010, at the age of 20, she launched her business, Ragamuffin Pet Photography after adopting her own scruffy dog. She is now the author of eight dog-filled books and president of the Tails of the World Collective. She's passionate about celebrating the joy that dogs bring to our world through emotive, beautiful photography.
